Asset-based Community Development

We offer a unique opportunity to participate in the Asset-based Community Development Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) and learn from experts from different countries. The inspiring programme consists of workshops and collaborative online teamwork with an intensive week in Finland.

Asset-based Community Development BIP is offered jointly with Diak’s partner HEIs University College Cork (Ireland), University of Tartu (Estonia), VID Specialized University (Norway), Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (Germany), Wrexham University (UK), University of Western Cape (South Africa) and University of Malawi.

“BIP is an effective way to learn”

Public Transportation

A practical tool for finding the most suitable public transport in Helsinki is to use Reittiopas journey Planner

From Helsinki central railway station, the bus number 55 (departs from platform 3) stops in front of the campus building (stop Haukilahdenkatu). The journey takes 15 minutes.

We recommend downloading the HSL app to buy tickets and find the rutes. This app can be used also for the train from the airport to the city centre. Alternatively, you can buy day tickets (for 1-7 days) e.g. from R-kioski.

Daily lunch is available at 12-13 and the price for a warm meal is 2,95€ for students.
