Certificate of Study and Transcript of Records

Attending degree students and students of the Diak open UAS can download an electronically signed Certificate of Study and Transcript of Records from MyDiak’s print service.

In the My Studyinfo service (My completed studies), you can also view your own studies and, if necessary, share information using a sharing link.

Degree certificate copies

Those who have graduated before March 1st 2023

The graduated student holds the only original paper copy of the degree certificate.

  • If you require a certified copy of the original degree certificate, please visit the study office and bring your diploma with you. Diak will not mail the degree certificates and the copy will be made at the Study Office. The cost of the certification process is 30 €.
  • You can also request a degree certificate duplicate if you have lost the original degree certificate. The duplicate will also contain a copy of the transcript of records. The cost of the duplication process is 50 €.
  • The Finnish Digital and Population Information Agency’s public notary can also certify degree certificate copies for a fee. For more information, visit the Finnish Digital and Population Information Agency’s website.

Those who have graduated after March 1st 2023

The only degree certificate issued is the electronic degree certificate copy. Paper diplomas are no longer issued. An electronic diploma does not require separate authentication. You can send the diploma as it is to different authorities or as an attachment to a job application. The electronic diploma can be printed on paper, but the diploma is official only in electronic form.

  • A printed and certified copy of the electronic degree certificate costs 30 €.
  • A re-issued electronic degree certificate, sent via email, costs 30 €.
