What is the employment situation like for Diak graduates of 2021 five years after graduation? How does the expertise gained during their studies manifest itself in the workplace, and how has their education supported their career paths? The national career monitoring survey for universities of applied sciences collects data to support the development of education and the operations of higher education institutions. This year, all alumni who graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a university of applied sciences in 2021 are invited to participate in the survey. The survey is open from October 7 to November 9, 2026.
The career monitoring survey is an important opportunity to share your own experiences in the workforce and help shape future education.
– By completing the career monitoring survey, you’ll help us improve our educational programs for future students. At the same time, you’ll highlight the expertise and impact of your own professional field, as well as the significance of this education in the workforce and society. The better we understand our graduates’ career paths and the valuable work they do in the workforce, the more effectively we can work together to raise the profile and enhance the appreciation of the field. Every response is therefore of great importance, says Sanna Wesanko, Director of Education and Vice President at Diak.
– Last year, we reached record-high response numbers. Now is a great opportunity to increase our response rate even further! Wesanko encourages.
The career monitoring survey is used to develop training programs for future professionals in the social services, health care, church, and interpreting fields.
The survey is also important for the institution as a whole. The results of the career monitoring survey are used nationwide in the evaluation of universities of applied sciences and have an impact on the institutions’ funding.
