Apply now for BA degree programmes in Diak

There are 80 study places in two bachelor’s degrees conducted in English at Diaconia University of Applied Sciences.

This spring’s first joint application starts on 3 and ends on 17 January 2024 at 3pm Finnish time. Each of the programmes start next Autumn.

Entrance examinations

Student admission for the Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services is based on the International UAS exam, which is completed online on March 2024. The examination has one phase.

Diak organises its own two-stage entrance examination for the Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care, Nursing. The first phase will take place at Diak’s Helsinki campus on 15 February 2024 and the second phase will take place online on 4–5 March 2024. Applicants to Diak’s English-language nursing education must have at least level B1 knowledge of Finnish.

Diak does not use other selection methods in English-language degree programmes.

Programmes in English interest widely

Programmes in English open doors for international tasks. The number of applicants has increased significantly for several years.

Programmes in English provide the same competence as programmes taught in Finnish.

Joint application for BA and MA degree programmes in Finnish

You can apply for Diak’s bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes conducted in Finnish in the second joint application period, which takes place from 13 to 27 March 2024.
