During the first week of November, Diak students and staff can bring in their old, unused IT equipment for recycling. This collection drive is part of Diak’s sustainability program, through which we promote the responsible use of natural resources and the circular economy.
Bring your old devices for recycling
The collection of obsolete or unwanted IT equipment will take place on every campus. Devices will be placed in a locked security cabinet and received by a designated contact person.
- Drop-off (no appointment needed) – 2nd floor in Helsinki and the lobby in Oulu: Wed–Fri, Nov 4–6, from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM.
- At other times (Mon–Fri, Nov 2–6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM), please call ahead when you are arriving to drop off your IT equipment:
o Helsinki: Campus building, 2nd floor – Aleksey Kuoza, 050 345 8150 (Facility Services)

To help maximize the reuse rate of functional devices, please follow the instructions below. You may also bring in broken devices, which will be recycled or destroyed appropriately.
