Diak’s external website (diak.fi) will be renewed at the turn of February and March. The aim is to create a modern, accessible and easy-to-use service for students, applicants and partners. A new dedicated student section – the Student Guide – will offer clearer support for everyday study-related needs.
How will students benefit from the new site?
The renewal introduces several improvements designed to make it easier for students to find information and manage their studies.
- Clearer structure and improved navigationImportant content for students – such as login links, study instructions, services and events – will be easier and quicker to find. These will be logically organised within the new Student Guide.
- Student communications centralised in the Student Guide and TuudoNews and updates for students will be published centrally on the renewed website. The current Diakle student news section will be discontinued. Tuudo will continue to show a news feed as before, although some changes will be made to the way news items are categorised.
- Smooth use on all devices and improved accessibilityThe new site will be fully mobile-friendly, making it easy to access information on the go. It will also meet public sector accessibility requirements, making the pages easier to use with different needs, assistive technologies and devices.
- A unified and user-focused serviceThe renewal will also cover Diak’s separate sites, such as the Dialogi online magazine and the pages for various research and development projects. This will make moving between different Diak sites smoother and more intuitive. The new website will also include an online shop where visitors can purchase Diak’s education and service products as well as publications.
When will the new site be launched?
The new website and the Student Guide will open at the end of February. The exact launch date will be confirmed later, and students will receive more detailed information during February.
