We have received feedback about the heavy use of fragrances. There are people studying and working in our university of applied sciences who may be sensitive to scents. Strong fragrances, such as perfumes and scented cosmetic products, can cause allergic reactions, shortness of breath, or headaches for a fellow student or colleague. These symptoms can make it difficult to concentrate and may even require interrupting the study or workday.
We want to promote a safe and pleasant study and work environment for everyone. We kindly ask all students and staff members to be mindful of fragrance sensitivity. By doing so, we show consideration and help promote the well-being of others on campus. We recommend using fragrance-free products and avoiding strong scents in campus facilities.
Let’s remember: fresh air is truly fresh – while fragrances can be eau de stress!
