The main objective of the OSUMA project is to strengthen the inclusion, functional capacity and work ability of 25–55‑year‑old Vantaa residents who are currently outside the labour market. This is achieved through outreach service guidance, seamless service pathways within the cooperation network, and both group- and individual‑based coaching. The project develops network cooperation and jointly builds smooth, shared service pathways that draw on the services provided by network partners. In addition, the project pilots an outreach working method and pair work with network partners to improve service accessibility.
The project utilises the Tsemppi coaching model developed in the Virtaa Varustamoista project. This coaching is piloted for participants with developing Finnish language skills and for disabled participants with specific work ability needs. Changes in participants’ overall wellbeing are monitored using the TäsmäZekki tool and the inclusion survey developed by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).
The main implementer of the project is the Parish Union of Vantaa, and Diak is the co‑implementer.
