Naisten aika

Naisten aika project is managed by Diaconia University of Applied Sciences and funded by the AMI Foundation.

The project aims to support Roma women’s participation in work and education paths, as well as their own agency, in an individual and community-oriented manner. The project collaborates with Roma associations and key people in the community, as well as companies and employers to promote this.

The project includes group activities, individual guidance, youth-oriented activities and empowering events.

Studies show that employment and education opportunities are harder to access for minorities compared to the majority population in Finland. At Diak, we support individuals, professionals, and workplaces in embracing and strengthening diversity.
