According to the latest job-seeking survey by Duunitori, the number of open positions in the social and care sector as well as in healthcare has collapsed by as much as 39% within a year. This is mainly due to budget cuts in the wellbeing services counties. However, jobs have also decreased in the private sector.
The challenging labour market situation and difficulties in finding employment affect many graduates from Diak. At the alumni meeting on 28 April from 16:00 to 18:00, we will take a comprehensive look at the theme of employment. You will gain tools for articulating your skills, understanding current trends in recruitment, and standing out in the job search process. Your dream job or the next step in your career may be waiting in an unexpected — even hidden — place. During the event, you will receive tips to support a multichannel job search. The session will be introduced by job search and career planning specialist, career and employment coach Riikka Siniluoto (Master of Social Services).
You can participate in the meeting either remotely or on-site at the Helsinki, Oulu or Pieksämäki campuses.
