A feedback survey that Diak students can access by clicking on a link sent by email or on the students’ learning platform or by scanning a QR code. The survey asks questions about students’ experiences of teaching and studying at Diak.

How long are personal data stored?

The storage periods of documents are determined in Diak’s archive creation plan, and they are generally based on legislation, the financier’s requirements, general university policy or storage periods determined based on the Diaconia University of Applied Sciences’ administrative needs.

After the expiry of the storage period, all paper data are disposed of in a secure document bin and electronic data are erased from the systems.

What are my rights as a data subject?

As a data subject, you have the right to request access to records of your personal data and request any incorrect information to be rectified. If your personal data are processed based on your consent, you also have the right to cancel your consent.

The identity of the requester is verified by means of strong identification when the form is submitted. You can enquire about the processing of your request from Diak’s Data Protection Officer.

If the personal data requested to be rectified or erased can no longer be identified or removed from the material produced by this survey, Diak’s Data Protection Officer will decide whether the request can be fulfilled. You will receive the decision in writing. You have the right to file a complaint about the decision with the Data Protection Ombudsman, which is a national authority.
