Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Health Care (in Finnish)

The programme leads to a qualification to work as a nurse in primary care, specialised nursing care and social services in the first and third sectors and various international organisations.

The Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Health Care provides comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed in professional nursing practice and development.

The programme offers a particular focus on working with individuals of different ages and their families on a range of health and welfare issues.

The Diak Degree Programme in Health Care equips students with specialised skills for supporting and assisting disadvantaged and marginalised patients and for working in multidisciplinary teams.

Clinical competence is underpinned by a multicultural perspective and a focus on the effects of societal changes on people’s health and welfare.

Extent: 210 credit points (ECTS)
