Diak’s website has been redesigned. The new site now includes a Student Guide, which brings together all the essential instructions, links and information you need for your studies: https://www.diak.fi/en/student-guide/. You can access the Student Guide directly from the main menu on Diak’s front page.
Below are some tips on how to navigate the page and find the information most relevant to you.
How to navigate the Student Guide
1. Quick links on the front page
On the front page, you will find all key quick links to student systems such as Diakle, MyDiak, your timetable and email.
2. Main content sections to support your studies
The Student Guide is organised into three main sections. You can access these directly from the top of the front page. Each section opens its own subpages containing detailed instructions.
- Information for new students
- Information on study progress, including planning your studies, enrolment, placements and graduation
- Information on international opportunities
- Information on study regulations
- Information on guidance and support services such as study counselling and wellbeing support
- Information on student benefits and student life
- Information on safety and equality
- Services and tools to support smooth studying, such as IT services, library services and all forms required during your studies
- You can also explore the Diak–Finnish glossary, which explains key study-related terms used at Diak
3. Keep up with news and events
News and events targeted at students are now available on the front page of the Student Guide: https://www.diak.fi/en/student-guide/.
News and events are also updated directly in Tuudo.
4. Use the site search
If you are looking for something specific, you can use Diak’s general search function (the magnifying glass in the top-right corner). You can also find information quickly by using search engines such as Google. Search terms such as “student financial aid”, “study abroad” or “graduation” will bring up the relevant instructions most efficiently.
