Students
• understand pharmacotherapy as part of patient safety and are familiar with the procedure for reporting pharmacotherapy-related risks and adverse incidents
• understand the responsibilities of student nurses and registered nurses in pharmacotherapy
• understand the principles of general pharmacology and pharmacy
• know how to look for and apply information on medication from drug databases
• know how to guide patients in pharmacotherapy and the interpretation of an electronic prescription
• can perform the medical calculations included in the course

Assessment criteria
– Pharmacotherapy theory exam, numerical K5-T1/Failed
– Medicine calculation exam 100% correct, passed.
– The exam can be failed if there are errors in the answer that endanger patient safety from the point of view of practical medical treatment.
