What is Dialogi?

Dialogi is the online media outlet of Diaconia University of Applied Sciences (Diak). It promotes a socially sustainable society by highlighting approaches, people and solutions that contribute to breaking the cycle of inequality. Dialogi provides timely and impactful content that brings together humanity, expertise and hope. It strengthens diversity and dialogue within public debate.

Dialogi is an online magazine that supports Diak’s advocacy work and RDI priorities:

  • Equality benefits society as a whole
  • Everyone has the right to a good life and human dignity
  • Social innovations enable wellbeing
  • A social and health care system that functions well is human-centred and efficient

Dialogi sheds light on societal shortcomings and offers solutions that promote equality, wellbeing, health and social sustainability. It provides readers with new perspectives and research-based knowledge that enrich public discussion. Dialogi also makes Diak’s expertise visible, as well as the outcomes of its education and RDI activities.

Dialogi publishes content on current phenomena and people, opinion pieces, expert blogs and articles. Contributions are written by Diak’s experts, students and representatives of partner organisations.
