EAIE 2019: Campus experience at Diak

Diaconia University of Applied Sciences (Diak) is a national-level university of applied sciences, the only one specialising in social work, health care, diaconal work and interpretation. Diak has around 3 000 students and 240 staff members across five campuses. The main campus is located in Helsinki.
Diak’s specific areas of expertise are social inclusion, evolving multiculturalism, smart health and social services, and religions in communities. Their education and research, development and innovation (RDI) actions promote sustainable wellbeing in national, European and global contexts. According to Diak’s students, the university helps them find their calling and place in today’s world of work.
