Learning outcomes
The students will be able to:
• understand service users’ viewpoints on digital services
• apply professional communication and offer guidance in digital services
• understand ethical principles and the legal framework in digital services
• professionally use social media in social work and community development work
• understand the main developments in digitalisation and welfare technologies
Teaching methods
This study module consists of so called non-syncronised studies. This means that student works on the materials and assignments independently and according their own timetables. However, taking part in one of the supervision sessions is compulsary.

While other assignments are done individually, work-life interview can be conducted also in pairs.

The students will be able to:

• apply professional communication and offer guidance in digital services
• understand ethical principles and the legal framework in digital services
• professionally use social media in social work and community development work
• understand the main developments in digitalisation and welfare technologies
