Welcome to participate in Diak’s opening ceremony of the new semester! The opening ceremony takes place at Wednesday 13th September at 2 PM on the spot at the Helsinki campus. Together with the ceremony, students can enjoy a performance by pop artist Aliisa Syrjä and explore Diak’s student services.
The event is aimed at Diak’s new and existing students and personnel. Please see below for the detailed programme.
Programme in the campus chapel at 1 PM
- Campus mass where new students are blessed

You are welcome to explore Diak’s student services presented at stands around the restaurant area between 2 PM and 4 PM. You get a stamp from each stand, and collecting all stamps gives you a Diak umbrella as a gift. Stands are support services and study guidance, study office, library, O’Diako, student health services, international services, student communications and Diak’s projects.
