Diak offers online courses for students from partner universities with student mobility agreement.

Eligibility criteria
- Bilateral agreement on student mobility with Diak
- Language skills: B2-level English (see CEFR)
- Prerequisite for Bachelor courses: Minimum 60 ECTS completed in social studies
- Prerequisite for Master courses: Master student in social and health care
Application
Application periods
Autumn semester (Aug – Dec): 1 April – 30 April
Spring semester (Jan – May): 15 September – 1 November
Nomination
Please ask your home university to nominate you for the virtual mobility by sending an email to international.office@diak.fi.
After this, Diak International Office will provide you with instructions for application.
Orientation for virtual studies at Diak
Students will have an online orientation before the studies to help them to get familiar with the learning methods and tools used at Diak. In the online orientation they will also meet our student tutors.
Assessment & Grading
At Diak, the scope of studies is indicated in ECTS credits. 1 credit equals 27 hours of student workload.

Some courses at Diak are assessed on a pass/fail basis without grading. More information on Diak assessment principles.
Transcript of records
The grades of your courses will be added to MyDiak within four weeks from the end of the course. After that you can download the transcript of records yourself from MyDiak:
- Click on My Studies (PSP)
- Click on the icon “Lataa opintosuoritusote (PDF)” on the top right.
The transcript is both in Finnish and in English, please scroll down to find the English version. You will be able to download the transcript yourself until 31.7 (spring semester) or 31.12 (autumn semester).
