Recruit Diak students for work placements
Work placements are an important part of studying at an UAS, and all our students complete several work placement periods during their studies.
By offering work placements, you can build your employer brand and increase awareness of your organisation in the labour market.
A positive work placement experience will encourage students to seek employment in the same field, or even in the same organisation.
Are you interested in offering work placements?
If you have received an inquiry from a Diak student willing to complete his/her placement in your organisation, or if you are generally interested in recruiting our students for work placements in your organisation, get in touch with us and contact the Heads of Education.
We will conclude a work placement agreement with you, which will cover your whole organisation (instead of e.g. an individual department).
The recruitment procedures vary depending on the field in question. Social service, health care and church organisations primarily publish work placements in the Jobiili system, which gives students easy access to information about available placements.
Individual paid placements can also be published in the student intranet as news items. Please contact the communications team at viestinta@diak.fi.

Jobiili reservation system for practice placements in health and social care
The health and social care programmes of Diak use the national practice placement reservation system Jobiili, which is used by all Finnish UAS institutions offering education in these fields. Jobiili can be accessed at jobiili.fi.
Placements are published in the system by employers independently.
Employees of the practice placement organisation have three possible roles in Jobiili: an administrator, a placement coordinator and a user with browsing access.
