Publication series

Diak publications are grouped into four series: Diak Research, Diak and Working Life, Diak Speaks and Diak Teaches.

Nearly all publications are available on an open access basis in the Theseus repository of universities of applied sciences.

Diak Research

The Diak Research series presents scientific studies that produce new, innovative information in the areas of teaching, research and development at Diak. The publications in this series are monographs and collections of articles.

In addition to an external referee, each study published in this series is evaluated by a trained researcher who is a member of the publication team.

These publications are usually printed, but other forms are possible.

Publication:

All publishing decisions are made by the publication team on the basis of expert opinions.

Diak and Working Life

The Diak and Working Life series presents research and development reports and theses that have produced innovative, significant findings which contribute to the improvement of working life. Studies may be submitted for publication in the series by employees of Diak, thesis writers and external writers.

These publications are usually printed, but other forms are possible.

Publication:

All publishing decisions are made by the publication team on the basis of the opinions of two Diak experts or, in the case of theses, on the basis of assessment reports.

Diak Speaks

The Diak Speaks series presents thematic opinions from Diak, various reports and theses.  The types of texts in this series may not always require a scientific or reporting style.

These publications are usually printed, but other forms are possible.

Publication:

All publishing decisions are made jointly by the chairman of the publication team and Diak’s publishing coordinator. If necessary, they may consult other experts from Diak.

Diak Teaches

The Diak Teaches series presents writings on topics related to pedagogical development, learning materials, guidebooks and work books.

These materials are published in various formats.

Publication:

All publishing decisions are made by the publication team on the basis of the opinions of two Diak experts.
