Each year, Diak manages and partners in dozens of projects on topics relating to our focus areas.

A significant proportion of our projects receives support from the European Social Fund. Other funding sources include local authorities and government ministries.

The project is administered by City College Peterborough in United Kingdom, and the project partners are Aproximar, Cooperativa de Solidariedade Social (CRL) in Portugal, Amadora Inovation em Unipessoal (LDA) in Portugal, Cooperativa Sociale CEIS Formazione in Italy, San Giuseppe Onlus in Italy, Fondatsiya Obrazovatelno Satrudnichestvo in Bulgaria, Asociatia European Association for Social Innovation in Romania, Diakonia-ammattikorkeakoulu in Finland and Asociația Centrul de Cercetare și Formare a Universității de Nord in Romania.
Main goal
This project wishes to reinforce competencies of the teachers to deal with complex classroom realities to better manage diversity.

Main goal
The network shares best practices in northern nursing education and documents these models in order to promote the establishment of additional northern, rural and remote nursing programs in the eight circumpolar states.

The project is administered by the University of Oulu, and its partners are the Oulu University of Applied Sciences, Educational Consortium OSAO, Luovi Vocational College, Diaconia University of Applied Sciences and City of Oulu by the Educational and Cultural Services and the Business Oulu.
Main goal
The project targets to develop products, competence and export activities for distance learning, digital content and technical solutions. It also aims to develop the competence to participate in global NGO projects.
