The first joint application of the spring has ended
A total of 621 eligible applicants applied to Diak’s English-language Bachelor’s degree programmes. The most common countries of residence among the applicants were Finland, Bangladesh and Nigeria. Diak offered 80 study places for English-language Bachelor’s degree programmes in social and health care at the Helsinki campus. Studies will begin in the autumn of 2026.
Bachelor’s degree programmes in the joint application were
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services (Helsinki campus, blended teaching)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care, Nursing (Helsinki, contact teaching)
Entrance examinations
There are two selection methods for the Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services: the International University of Applied Sciences (UAS) Exam and two-stage entrance examination organised by Diak. The International UAS Exam is organised on 24 March 2026 online.
The first phase of the entrance examination organised by Diak is organised on 3 March 2026 at Diak’s Helsinki campus. The second phase of the entrance examination is organised 4 March 2026 at Diak’s Helsinki campus. Applicants can participate in both the International UAS Exam and Diak’s own entrance examination and be offered admission through any of these selection methods.
Diak organises its own two-stage entrance examination for the Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care, Nursing. The first phase will take place at Diak’s Helsinki campus on 3 March 2026 and the second phase will take place at Diak’s Helsinki campus on 5 March 2026. Applicants to Diak’s English-language nursing education must have at least level B1 knowledge of Finnish.
Diak does not use other selection methods in English-language degree programmes.

Admission results
Results of the UAS Exam and the other results will be published by April 15th 2026. We will inform on our website when the results are published. Names of the selected students are not published online.
Applicants can see their admission results from the Studyinfo website. All the applicants will receive an email on the admission results.
Offered study places must be accepted by July 9th (3 PM).
Second joint application
The second joint application of the spring for higher education in Finland will be held between 10 and 24 March 2026. The joint application includes Diak’s Finnish-language bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Helsinki, Oulu, Pori and online. Read more on Diak’s Finnish website.
